What a great company. Friendly and helpful communication ahead of the booking. Efficient and knowledgeable on the day of the clean. Amazing results on carpet and parquet floor. The guys that turned up were flexible, happy to explain what they were doing and willing to move all my furniture around to get to the floor. Best of all, no mildew smell after the clean which has been a problem in the past. Thank you!

Team arrived on time and started at once. Generally very good clean to hall carpet. Pointed out moth damage which we will be dealing with. Kitchen carpet generally good but failed to remove a significant brown stain. Not sure whether they moved the piano to clean under. We stayed out of the way as machinery is noisy but team didn't ask us to examine cleaned carpets or say goodbye!! Some contact would have been appreciated!

I recently had an issue where my daughter's puppy chewed the stair carpet, pulling a long thread and damaging the hessian backing. Thankfully, I had some spare offcuts and contacted Northstar to help with the repair.
From the initial contact with Gary, to the completed job, the service was excellent. Matt and Keanu were very polite and professional. They explained the repair process clearly when they arrived, which put me at ease. The technician, Gary, also mentioned that even if I hadn’t had spare offcuts, there were alternative methods for sourcing matching thread — which was reassuring to know.
The final result exceeded my expectations — you genuinely wouldn’t be able to tell there had ever been any damage. It’s saved me a lot of money compared to replacing the entire carpet. I'm absolutely delighted and would highly recommend Northstar to anyone needing expert carpet repairs!

Fab company, and great service from quote to clean. Matthew was brill from the off. Came and looked at the challenge ahead, and was thorough, the team then came back with a quote I balked at as it was way lower than i anticipated - lovely surprise. Booked in and carpets done within 2 weeks of quote. Matt arrived promptly, and got cracking. Hardly noticed him working away whilst we were working and on calls, and suddenly was done in fab time. Called in North Star after a google search/review check of the area. Excellent service, very patient with us as we had delays in booking in. Excellent spot removal of carpet tape, sew repair of a burn mark and general cleaning of sitting room and hallway. Lovely man turned up promptly on the day and carried out all the works. Highly recommend North Star.

I have been working with Northstar for over 15 years in a professional capacity. They are ALL extremely pleasant and helpful, their knowledge is second to none, as a landlord my properties are often left in a less than ideal condition but they never complain they just get on with it and the results are always 10/10. I use them for all of my work and recommend them to friends and business associates. The carpet cleaning is exceptional and there have been times when I thought I would have to replace the carpets but after a Northstar visit they are as good as new which is a great saving for my business. Had my carpet cleaned today at 3.30 by Matthew a genuine lovely guy who knew what he was doing and left our 10year old carpet looking brand new. Cannot fault this company at all and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their carpets cleaned.

Matthew cleaned all of the carpets in my house yesterday and I'm absolutely thrilled with the result. Matthew was entirely professional; he was super-friendly, courteous and tidy, and explained every step of the process to me. He worked incredibly hard to clean my carpets to a very high standard, and I will definitely be using North Star next time they need a clean.
Owners nice people, but of end of tenancy clean was very poor, I had to call them back and then ended up cleaning the bath and shower myself, plus round light switches, skirting boards etc. I suggest they make a visit to check the clean has met standards.

The team did a wonderful job on our hallway carpet, dining chairs and sofa. With 2 dogs and a 2 year old they had got so grubby and now look brand new!

I hired this company via Facebook Ads and the booking was quite easy and simple. Matt did a great job cleaning carpets in three rooms and was very professional.
This is my honest review. I don’t normally take any advertising seriously on Facebook. There are so many scams. I was interested in having my carpets cleaned so I looked into this company before booking an appointment. I was really happy to find this is a legitimate company. The booking was so easy. I booked with a lady called Karen who was very helpful and made an appointment for me. II did also speak to her husband I think his name was Chris He was also very helpful. On the day the man came. I’m sorry I can’t remember his name. He was very nice. He worked so hard. He explained what he was going to do throughout the appointment. He also gave us some good advice regarding our carpets. I could not be happier with this company or the man who cleaned our carpets. I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone who would like their carpets cleaned.

Excellent service. Tech Matthew was lovely and put in 100%! Our carpets weren’t that old and one room had been used to keep our dog in and he had been doing his business under a table without me realising so we had a massive wee stain to contend with! But Matthew brought the carpet back to how it look when we first moved in (see before and after pics). Had whole house done a well and I’m really pleased with every room, freshened the carpets at a minimal cost compared to replacing the at £2000! Would highly recommend North Star Cleaning.

Great company really do recommend my 6 month old pup decided to rip a hole in the carpet under my radiator and rip the side of the stairs of not really knowing what to do I circled all the carpet shops very expensive come across these guys got me in super quick managed to get some spare carpet from my cupboard and the job was done it wasn’t messy it wasn’t stressful very friendly man to and a very reasonable price I’ve kept the spare carpet for when I need to call these guys next time ha ha don’t look anywear else these are your people

Absolutely 💯 % amazing, the carpet had a lot of through traffic which in places was quite down trodden & dirty, wasn’t really sure if cleaning would help, had a company in last year & wasn’t that impressed, so before giving in & buying new carpet we tried this company, all I can say is OMG, so glad we did, they did an amazing job, the carpets look new again & such lovely people So before paying out large expense buying new carpet, please just give this wonderful company a try, you will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend NorthStar Carpet Cleaning, especially Matthew, who came to my property to clean my carpets. He went above and beyond by lugging his massive machine up to my flat and showed great dedication throughout the entire cleaning process. He deserves a medal for the work he did.

Matt did an amazing job on our 3 piece suite and footstool. He goes above and beyond and gives good advice on how to maintain the furniture and tips for our carpet too. Karen and Gary are really helpful when booking and sorting out payments too. Will definitely be using again and fully recommend.

The carpets though out my small cottage were very dirty. The North Star technician worked very hard and produced a result that was amazing. He was able to remove all bad stains except where oil or grease from bed wheels had penetrated the carpet fibres over a long period of time. He arrived punctually and completed the job in about two hours. The cost was entirely reasonable.

I would thoroughly recommend North Star Cleaning. Matt did a wonderful job cleaning my cream carpets throughout the house, plus my two neglected sofas. They all look as new. Also, I thought the price was very reasonable! I will definitely use North Star again.
We contacted this company, after being recommended by a friend. Our carpets are not the best quality and had some damage from our cat but Matt did a fantastic job and we were really pleased with how they came up. As well as looking cleaner the pile on the carpets feels better (bit like walking on newly laid carpets) and indent marks from furniture - like our coffee table - has disappeared.

I contacted North Star Cleaning on behalf of the Company I work for to deal with some carpet cleaning at a School where we were working. They responded immediately and attended within a couple of hours. Excellent service and communication. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Had an cleaner attend our old flat on the 1st of September 2021 to clean the carpets before we handed the keys back to the lettings agent. They done an amazing job and made some very unclean carpets look great. Professional service throughout from booking the call and to dealing with the cleaner themselves. Very impressed with the service and was given some great advice by the chap on the end of the phone.

We needed a fairly small but conspicuous worn area of our carpet on one of our stairs repaired. Having provided photos and made enquiry through North Star website, we received a rapid response with advice and quotation for repair by email. This was augmented by a phone call (from Spain!) to arrange an appointment to do the job within the week. On the day, Gary arrived and did the work without fuss and to a high standard.
